Chris has over 30 years experience starting, capitalizing and growing companies, as well as divisions and projects for companies, in several industries, including biofuels, recycling / waste-to-energy, real estate, finance and e-commerce. His key skills include company and project development, financing, marketing and sales. Chris and his marketing & sales teams have won several top real estate industry awards, including Chris being the Northern California Marketing Director of the Year.
Some of Chris’ most rewarding work for his companies and others’ has been in company startup and project development & financing, where he has successfully completed 40 projects on the East, West and Gulf Coasts of the United States. In the process, Chris successfully negotiated strategic partnerships with several Fortune 500 companies. Working with Blume has allowed Chris to engage his passion for creating projects with beneficial impacts for people and our planet, as well as for the local economy.
Over 30 years in project management and sales for Atlas Copco and Airometrix Mfg., Inc. Mr. Evans has managed multi-year utility programs for Southern California Gas Company and Southern California Edison, and has experience in evaluating and integrating emerging technologies into the marketplace, with a BS from Arizona State University.
Alan Jacobson – Senior Feedstock Consultant. Alan Jacobson has over 30 years experience in assessing and managing the acquisition of feedstock for biomass power and biomass to ethanol facilities.
Steve has focused on high-value sugar crops throughout his career. He has been instrumental in working with various government agencies regarding environmental and Ag policy issues. He was the Director of Business Development and, held various administrative positions during his 38 year tenure with Betaseed, Inc. He grew up on his family farm in western Nebraska (which he still calls home), feeding cattle, growing sugarbeet, and other local crops. He received his B.S. in Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado. He’s had lifelong involvement in agriculture and the North American sugarbeet industry. He began his career providing sales and consulting service to growers in western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming before taking on a regional management position for the Intermountain area of the US. From 1995 thru 2008, and prior to taking on the Business Development role, Steve was the Director of National Sales and Marketing for North America. Steve began working in the renewable energy sector in 2007 where he worked closely with his colleagues throughout North America and Europe.
Carl is a film maker and entrepreneur with an interest in health, wellness and sustainability. In 1990 he became a cultural consultant for NBC’s new programs, including “The Fresh Prince of Bel-air”, “Seinfeld”, “Ferris Bueller”, the very first Danielle Steele TV Movie “Changes” and “Decoration Day” which starred James Garner, Bill Cobbs and Lawrence Fishburne. In the mid-1990s Carl took a break from film to explore the business side of the corporate world. During that time he was a business consultant at Ernst and Young in a special Divison call the Accelerated Solutions Environment there he consulted for the highest executives of Coke, Wal-Mart, and Cox Communications. In the late-1990s he started his a chain of successful health food and wellness stores called “The Herb Shop”.
Over 29 years in energy engineering for industrial and institutional customers, including the ESCO market. Founder of Airometrix Mfg. Inc. in 1999, a consulting engineering firm focused on Fortune 500 clients serving multiple areas of energy conservation, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Over 35 years of utility and business development experience, including 20 years as the Energy Services Manager of a Public Utility. Ms. West has received national and international awards for energy conservation and has experience working directly with over 100 private and public utilities nationwide.
